i am looking at getting the bomex/Bmx (knockoff version) fo ra 95-99 cavalier. Will i need the impact plastic? It is the stuff that goes on the impact bar? ALso i an getting a stock 95-99 bumper, will i need it for that?? Basically i just want to know if i can get away with out having it.

you'll have to trim the bumper support in the front...but the bomex rear mounts over top of the stock rear

i took all of the impact plate OFF my front end when i had the bomex and it held up fine
but then some girl i work with backed into my cavy and ripped it off
now im DRIFTTASTIC

you can trim it if you want...i took it off mine for my BC bumper
you can see it painted black in the pic...mine holds up fine...i was gonna trim it but its a PITA being styrofoam on my 99
