well i own an 04 cav and i wanted to get a drift kit for it. i have been searching the internet and i came upon this website that has a fiberglass drift kit for only $450 (http://winksonline.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=237&osCsid=7c185e1aa56f91d6c43f8d60cb0a7044), and then there is this other website that has the same kit but its a Urethane material for $850 (http://www.gofastperformance.com/product_info.php/products_id/834). So my questions is if its better to pay 400 bucks more for urethane or save money and go with the fiberglass kit? and also what are the diffrence between the two? i have heard that urethane is stronger. well let me know what you guys think and any info on both kits would be good.
IF YA CAN AFFORD THE URETHANE (sp) GET THAT...SPECIALLY IF ITS GONNA BE A DAILY DRIVER---IF YA GO FIBERGLASS--I HOPE U CAN GLASS AND HAVE SOME EXTRA PAINT...SO THAT SAID..IF YA HAVE THE $$$ GET THE URETHANE :-p
btw-I DIDNT THINK THEY MADE DRIFT FOR 03+ CAVS..HMM..WIERD
dude, ill be straight with you. THE ONLY PEOPLE TO MAKE URETHANE DRIFT KITS IS "VERSUS MOTORSPORTS" owners of P.U.R.E. and trust me. They don't make it anymore. that site hasn't updated their webpage.
Jim was running a GP but didn't get enough people to start. if you can find one in classifieds, then your lucky.
just get teh fiberglass versus ( fits awesome ) and get a splitter on the bottom!

He's right. I'm looking at selling my VERSUS/PURE urethane drift kit and I'm in cali
wuts a splitter and how much is it??.. lol pix?
get fiberglass true Urethane is tougher but its more expensive. also with urethane if you tear it then you have to buy a new frontend but with fiberglass you can just refiberglass it, paint it and your good to go

I guarentee you will repair a fiberglass bumper many more times before you even repair a urethane once.

maybe, ive one had to really repair my drift kit once and it was on my car for 2 years. on the other hand if you do crack it, fiberglass is so much more easier to work w/ than urethane. both have their plus and minus. if your a bad driver, have crappy roads and cant glass, then urethane is the best for you.
how much are those splitters are they universal can i get one for my drift they look expensive
thats vis cf splitter. cost me a little over 300 after shipping

How does it attach to the bumper?
i'll post pics up tonight of mine fully attached. if you look at a jones cav you can see the 2 rods attached to the splitter and to the front bumper. their adjustable rods. basically their used for downforce but i wanna protect my kit, thats why i got it.
then basically i have 5 screws drilled in from the bottom of each side to hold it to the bottom of the bumper
Hmm thats pretty sweet, I think that will look great on your car man.
thanks people.
