OK, I want to fill the groove lines on my coil thingy on my 2.4
I'm planning to leave the lettering at the bottom, just fill the lines to make it smooth.
Any idea what is a good product for this? Gotta stand up to the heat and be paintable.
a grinder maybe would be better. i have heard of it done like this. grind, and buff to a shine or paint. but i dont know for a fact. good luck.

maybe, but it seems it would be pretty thin after grinding.
I could sneak it into work and throw some aluminum on the mig and go nuts, but I'd rather do it at home if possible.
Alot of JB Weld then grind it smooth.
im just throwing that out there not sure if it would work
take a piece of metal bend over weld on?
Now that is just to easy....
I can't believe I didn't think of that. I'll have to do it at work though since I don't have a TIG welder at home.
I'll post pics if it works out!
