I'm hell bent on a BC2 kit for my 2002 cavalier and I've seen a bunch of kits for like $400 but I'm interested in saving myself a bit of headache and going for the real thing for $800
has anyone had experience with the 400 vs the 800 versions?
also, anyone ever ordered from

of course I'll only be getting this kit after the bash and after I pay Gravana Jim for his SW33T coilovers and turbo my car (need an intercooler to fill that awesome hole in the bumper)
hey man, most kits are going to be a pain to put on regardless of price. I say just go with the cheap kit from a legit source

go w/ the higher price kit. they are usually made better with more glass. cheap kits are usually flimsy and arent strong due to the lack of glass. higher priced kits are strong and durable. perfect example, i got my drift kit from a company and it wasnt bad. it was like 500 total w/ shipping. well the kit was in good condition. atleast i thought until i got my trd kit from jim. let me tell you the kit jim sent me from verses is unbelieviable next to my drift kit. the kit is very strong and thick. im able to pick up the front bumper from one of the taps that go under the rad support and theres no flex or anything in the kit. its a very strong kit. so i say go w/ the 800 dollar kit. also fitment should be better w/ the more expensive kit. it wont be perfect but it should be better. over time glass warps and distorts

I hope you know that the BC2 kit isnt even made for 00+ cavs. 95-99 only. Same with the XGT kit that I got but trimming the FB was no big deal.
And about ordering a more expensive kit.....more expensive isnt always the way to go. I paid $800 for my genuine Xtreme GT kit from Extreme Dimensions and it was really thin, and the rear was a pain to get on right. But it is a very strong kit.
Anyways, just go with a company that is well known on jbo and u shoud be fine.

Yes, they do make it for the 00-02. Have you bothered looking lately?
I have the Wayson rear, which is exactly the same as the BC2, just made by someone else.
It's in my opinion, exactly like the BC2, and fitment was a peice of cake. BTW, it's one of the 400.00 ones.

me too got mine from A-Plus, havn't got it on yet but it real smooth, no waves in the glass, and it looks like it is gonna fit on without much hassel if any

Why don't you get an actually genuine kit, instead of some knock-off of a respectable company like Buddy Club. If thats what you like, then go for it. But I am tired of seeing all of these knock off kits like the bc2, blitz, combat, etc... There are actual kits that are originally designed on our cars. I cant see why any one would take a design that was originally designed for a civic, or a supra, and put it on another car. And in most cases, the outcome is downright hideous. So if I were you, Id get an actual genuine kit, instead of taking some other cars body pieces, and fitting them to your car, because basically, that is what your doing.
I notice a lot of people on here bitching and clowning on hondas all the time for stupid things those people do to their cars, but I dont see too much difference here from most of you that do all of that talking. So my question is this- If the majority of j-body owners hate on hondas, then why do most of you do the same things as them?
So to all, say what you will, I dont care. I know this was not positive in the least, but I had to get it out, because I feel strongly about this subject, and Im tired of seeing people turning their cars into what many of you call "rice".

here's my reasoning behind my choice:
Please ignore the HIDEOUS WING in these photos
as you can see, I'm looking for a body kit to compliment the natural lines of the car, not change them. The buddy club2 is a smooth, non obtrusive design that makes the car look more aggresive without looking rediculous and without trying to force the natural tear drop shape of the car into something else. It flows very well from front to rear.
I also like the front bumper because it will provide ample air flow for not only the radiator, but the soon to be installed bar & plate front mount intercooler. The sides are smooth, but not boring (the vent near the rear). Bomex sides would interrupt the nice flow of this kit (was originially going to mix n match). The rear continues the smooth feel, complimenting the silhouette of the car from the side without having the shelf look of the drift kit or bomex kits.
I don't find the BC2 kit ricey at all... unlike this kit for instance:
this kit totally disrupts the lines of the car in an effort to make it look like something completely different. I can understand this kit being considered "rice" (no offense to anyone who has it on their cars), but the BC2 kit is a very nice, mild kit to make the car look damn sexy but not obnoxious.

Sure, I'll admit, the BC2 is a clean kit. So is the SF1(i think thats what its called). But the fact is, these kits are copycats of aero kits that were designed mainly in japan, by real tuning shops, for completely different cars. Thats what I have a problem with. So wether it be the look, or the name, its still a fake.
