general question

Last night I put back on all my 04' stuff. I had about 80% of all the pieces, nutts, and bolts, and everything went pretty smooth. The headlights work (kinda), and the front bumper is on good. But....of course there are issues.

First off, my headlights aren't really as "bright" as I think they should be. Yea, I can see the road 110% better then I could with me APC 97' projectors, but I still think they should be alittle more brighter. Also, when I turn on the highbeams, the light output is the same as the low's. So I think I set up the wires incorrectly. Anyone that has a 03-05 knows what I mean.

Basically on the drivers side headlight you have 3 wires. One pink, 2 Blue. On the passenger side, you have 3 wires. Two blue, one orange. Now I have figured out that when hooking up the wires from the car, to the harness....if you dont hook them up all correctly you will mess up the circuit, and one headlight will be brighter then the other, etc... They all need to be correct in order for the high's and low beams to work.

Does anyone know the configure? Or have a diagram of this?

Secondly. There is quiet a big gap (about 1in.) on the "corner" side of both my headlights. This is where the corner area of the headlight meets the bumper. Now the headlights aren't bolted down that tightly cause the bolt holes are striped out, and I need to rethread them, so I was thinkin' maybe thats why. But they are not lining up correctly. There is a unreasonable gap on the bottom side, and corner light side.

I looked over everything, and I know everything is correctly installed, and lined up right. So....any ideas?

Also, last thing, but I already know the fix on it. Did you guys know that the 95-99 hood latch is shorter then the 03-05? I lost my 03-05' latch, and was using my 95-99 on my CF hood, so when I put the 04 hood back on, it wont click on the secondary lock. Just alittle FYI.

Anyways, thanks in advance for any advice
