when i got my car painted the body shop had put z24 side moldings on my 2.2 base model....ive never really liked them that much but i havent pulled them off because i dont know for shure if they painted under them or not

so if i do go and pull the moldings off and its the original color underneath, how would i go about putting them back on? like what kind of adhesive do you use and where would i be able to get it?

My Suggestion would be to use 3m's double sided tape, That's probably what is holding the moldings on there now

I used a couple different tapes on mine and didn't work. This one kind of tape did eventually work, but I can't remember what it was called. It was grey and was wider than the others...like an inch probably.
It'll be a bitch to get the old tape off the molding so it'll sit closer to the door when you put the new tape on.
