how do I take off the sunfire spoiler? the stock one, i wanted a clean look for my car, and am gonna tkae it off........ what kind of work is involved? and what will i be left with a few holes in my trunk?
i would keep it but my car is a cavfire and my kit and everyting would look nicer clean

take a 10mm socket to the underside of the hood and unscrew all the bolts. disconnect the brake light. 2 of the bolts are hidden under plastic covers, just pop those out with a screwdriver. It looks really great with no spoiler but theres alot of work and money involved in covering the 7 holes
heres what mine looked like:
yeha do the same as kase said but make sure you put electrical tape or something over the holes till you can get them mig welded shut.... and it looks sick without the spoiler i think!!
i'd get a spare trunk lid to work on if i were you. it takes time to weld the holes shut and repaint the trunk lid. so unless you want your car to be rolling around with no trunk lid, get a spare to work on. lol.

Well now you dont have to worrie i took it off your car and it dont take alotta work like 40 min to get off weld and grind and another few min to wled and if you wanted to paint you could do that in like 3 hours and back on the car
