Just a question, not to start a war, because everyone has their own tastes right?? im just wondering for ppl with 2drs, what they think of 4dr cavys/fires
personally i think it takes away the sporty image that 2dr cars have, what do you guys think?
ive seen some nice 4dr's tricked out, but im saying stock 4dr cavs and fires...... i dont like....... and AGAIN im not startin anythin here, im just curious what others think
I like two doors alot better, but I have seen some nice 4 doors...
I drive a 2 door Sunfire, and I like the two door 'fires and Cavaliers a lot better. However, I still like the 4 door Cavaliers, even though they're not sporty. I don't like 4 door Sunfires at all, although I love the 2 doors.
I have a 2 door, I love my 2 door. I found that it was harder to get in and out of the 4door, tha'ts why I went with the 2. And as for the sporty image... I think you can make a 4 door cavalier look just as sporty as the 2 door, given the right parts.
I think my 4dr rocks. I do like the 2dr models but went with a 4dr because nobody really does anything to them.

when it comes to cavi's, i like them both. as for fires 2 doors are awesome, 4drs i absolutley hate(no offense) to each his own, but the 4dr fires are just cavis with a front end swap and a dumb looking rear w/ a piss-ant spoiler.........I really don't like them because they don't follow the lines of the fire, the only reason i flipped out was cause i have seen nothing BUT 4dr fires for the past month and i'm sick of seeing them.

I think the 2-door and 4-door Cavs are 2 different cars and should be named differently.
They look totally different.
My belief is that the 4-door look says "family guy" and not "sporty".
However, like the above posts, I HAVE seen some sweet 4-doors here and give the deserved props to those of you who've taken it on. Anyone with a 4-door who wants my CF door inserts will always get a 2-set discount!

my preference is against anything with 4 doors... but i have seen a few that are very well done.
2 doors are sporty , 4 doors are practical
i like my 2 doors as a summer car but i dunno why i think winter time and hauling things suck with it! sure it got a nice sporty look and everything but im young, if i was older, i would have modded a 4 door instead!

and as for my opinion...i dont like the look of the 2 door fires a whole lot. never really did even back in 95, the cavi 2 door looks nice. the 4 door cavi actually looks like a sedan to me where as the fire 4 door looks a tad sporty. i dont know why. when i bought my 4 door i was looking for a sedan that had enough leg room in the back seat, a good size trunk, and looked good. i ran across the fire and liked it. so here it is after i paid it off.

I have a 4dr and 2dr and love them both.
personally i like the 2drs best, thats why i own one. but i really like the 02 4dr z24 with the lip kit, looks sporty yet still 4 drs.
i like the 4 door sunfires as i have a 95 4 door. yea the rear end looks kinda stupid but the front end look more sporty then cavys and u can just shave the trunk ...i like 4 door more..but i drive one so i guess i would like them lol

2 door all the way for me...but its all personal preference..not so much wether you like two doors or 4 doors but wehter you like show or go..
not that a 4 door can be fast but, if i bought a sedan id bag it, buy some bigger rims not them 34in chrome spinners lol but some nicer looking ones, and do the interior nicly....if i still had my coupe id make it looks sportier...

I really like both. I drive a 4dr, and it is just a matter of personal preference, also if you have friends that want to ride with you its a tad easier in a 4dr. You can make them feel sporty, or drive sporty, but I get a mental image of a bright yellow cav with everything stock but for some reason the back is up way too high and there is a blonde girl driving it with the Hawiian flower vinyl stickers on the windows, but thats just me......
I know that lately I have been staring at lots of 3rd gen Cavys...gonna be my vehicle come this fall. Personally, I dont care if it is a 2 door or a 4 door. They both look great to me!

I think stock the coupes look a lot more sporty, and the 4 doors look exactly what they are supposed to be, a sedan. However when some work is done to the 4 dr, a little shaving, kit, they end up looking pretty damn sweet. Silver Sedans look best for some reason
I have a 4dr and I love it. Ive always driven a 4dr. Not only for thw simple fact that just because I have a family doesnt mean I still cant have a kick ass car. Also I always have a butt load of people in my car so it makes things easier.
Also when Im drunk off my ass and my buddies have to drive me home I sure as hell am not going to crawl through the front seat to pass out in the back.

That just reminded me of the other reason I got a 4dr. Everyone in their mother has a 2dr so that is nothing really to ooo and ahhh about. Now taking a 4dr and tricking it out to look damn sweet is a thing of beauty.

To me, the Cavy's look ALOT better as sedans than the Sunfy's do. The Cavalies have a "practical" look, whereas the Sunflowers are trying to have a "sporty look". The Cavalier's end up doing it really well, but all the extra add ons and cladding just look tacked on and "busy" on the Sunflower sedans. As coupes, I'd say the Sunfire is the best looking, especially 2003+ models. The Cavaliers looked decent until they tried to emulate a shovelhead shark with the redesign.
