Truck Stereo help
Sunday, August 07, 2005 2:20 PM
What is the best setup for a regular cab truck (f150 to be exact). Are 10's or 12's better? Should I only have 1 sub or 2 subs? j/w cuz i've never been around trucks with systems.

THANKS!

one 10 is plenty enough in a reg cab. Coming from expirience with it. But in a full size truck id go two 10s cause u have the extra room behind the seats

what's the difference in airspace needed for say one 12 vs. two 10's? Any opinions on whether one 12" sub or two 10" subs is better?

Also, does anyone know anything about JL audio W3-D2 10" dual voice coil, 2 ohm subs?[

one 10 or 12 would give you plenty of bump in a truck. Anything more is kinda excessive as the cab is not overly large

my 10" Infinity Sub needed .75 cu ft. and my 12" Infinity needs 1.25 cu ft.

well my buddy had an extreme and have 4 12's in it and another ranger around my old house had 6 15in L7's. air space would all be determined by the sub
