Ok, folks, working on a side project, got it for $150 US dollars. Obviously used, and needs alot of botdy work, and even more mechanical work.
Does anyone here have the specs of this thing, I want to put in a modern Fuel injected crate motor in, but need to know the current specs before digging in.

Borsty, Its the predesesor to the hummer, but too many soldiers had problems driving it because of the trailer section.
The Cab and trailer are permently connected, But the trailer can move seperatly of the cab.
Its amphibious, 6 wheel drive, and articulated. Meaning the rear wheels turn as well as the front except the opposite direction and by 50%. Giving the M561 an unparrelleled manueveablity for its type of vehicle.
The cab is a 2 seater, with engine directly behind it, and the trailer section has sooo many options to haul different things. Everything from Supplies, troops, sat communication, and even rocket launchers.

how on earth did you find one of those for 150?!?
i forget his s/n but there's a guy on Ifsja.org that restores a lot of military jeeps he could probably give you some lines on where to get parts and info just search on the board, not a lot of users he should be easyto find. What do you plan to do with it, just restore it and show it? For 150 bucks I'm guessing its in rough shape Should be a blast off road though.

Thanks for the tip, ill check it out.
Im not quite gonna restore it. Im gonna put in a modern engine, cooling system, And possibly 1 hell of a system, or off road it.
I dont quite know yet.
