Of course my guess is those slotted roters weren't enough to stop a small truck with 1,760 lbs of thrust. Also wouldn't the engines suck that back window right off the car? I mean it isn't like they have any breathing room.

Okay, it could be done, but I seriously doubt you'd use that as your daily driver.
And, the engines aren't large enough that they impel air into them... they can live with the air coming in. If you get a chance, look into the air intakes of an F-1 Phantom or even a Panavia Tornado. The intakes are pretty small, but there's a fairly large plenum before the actual engines.
