I bought this car in January of this year... Then the modding began
Here is what I started with.... Stock 2002 Camaro Z28 A4 Hardtop "stripper" model... Here's what it looked like right after I bought it...
What I did next was install a Viper alarm with remote locks and remote start, Custom tint the windows: front 35%, sides and rear 15% with tribal graphic and Z28 graphic, Chrome 18x.9.5" Z06 wheels with 275/35/18 Kumho 712's, Black housing headlights, BMR Strut tower brace, LS1 Motorsports Lid (intake), BMR Lower control arms, SLP "bowtie" grill, Comp Cams 918 Valve Springs, Berger tail panel with chrome CAMARO inserts, SS ram air hood, and SS spoiler.

Lookin damn good got one question for yeah tho...what is with doing just the valve springs did it help with anything performance wise???? did you do just the springs??? how hard were they to install? Get yourself a nice set of headers and full exhaust and your set...but i always say im done modding and it never ends hehe
Very nice, the Z06 wheels look great on camaro's. Only thing I'd change are the window flames, straight tint would look cleaner.

I had my car dynoed and there was a loss of power between 5000-5600rpms... Several people on LS1Tech said it was the Valve Springs, so I swapped them... I got them for under $300 with retainers and locks and I figured if it didn't solve the problem I would be one step closer to a aftermarket cam in the future. The valve springs helped but the problem pops up every now and then. I think the problem is in the tune...
The car already has a Hooker cat-back and an exhaust cutout... All I need is headers and a y-pipe..
The car dynoed 344.2hp/352.7tq before the valvesprings... I will be dynoing again on the 18th to see if the springs helped any.

The tint... people either love it or hate it... I've seen several Camaros that look VERY similar to mine as it sits, color, wheels, etc... So I wanted to set mine apart. It also gives a few extra points at car shows... I already won 1st place at a show.
I am just suprised at how quickly I have come so far... My Z24 took a lot longer to get where it was at than the Z28 has..

Your car looks awsome. Congrats on the 1st place finish. It doesnt look like you lowered your car yet, eibach pro kit springs would really give you a killer stance. Itll set ur car off real nice. thad be my next upgrade if i were you. Good job on the camaro

Awesome F body. Your car dynoed really high for and auto with only a few mods. After you install the headers you should gain around 20-25 hp and have a mean sounding car. Don't buy SLP headers if you are going to lower your though.

loose the flame tint, looks tacky. other than that it looks good.

I don't know alot about 4th gens, but thankfully you changed the valve springs.
In most 3rd gens, they start losing their umph around 4500 RPM, like I said, it might be a little higher for 4th gens. These cars were built with low end TQ in mind.
Now that you have upgraded valve springs, let's try a cam to match it!!
But a very nice car, Z06 wheels are perfect, the flame thing looks kinda cheesy, but if you like it more power to you, that's the only thing I disagree with on this particular Camaro.

also since its a camaro..... SLP is yer friend.... ive driven an actual SS with just about every upgrade slp makes for it... and that car was quick as hell
also might i suggest a borla catback.......... dynomax's isnt bad either but the borla just makes yer car sound royally pissed off............. nothing against hookers exhaust..... just think their exhausts are more conformed to the older carburated muscle cars
plus the borla tips look mean peakin out from underneath and sound good too.... everyone i know that have it say they love it

Lol... no one likes my custom tint... oh well... I did it to be different, because there are several cars around here running around with the same color and same wheels... And more points for show. I think if half of you saw it in person you'd change your mind.
