I merely said it because in this instance, hmm the awd car wins, you know maybe? try watching the video and posting something of relevence next time.
number 2, I know as well as the next guy RWD, FWD, and AWD each have their pros and cons, as well as manuals vs autos, inline vs V style, DOHC vs pushrod, torque vs horsepower, superchargers vs turbos, fuel injection vs carburetion...
You know, masturbation is a great release of pent up aggression. You might wanna try that out next time you decide to be a cock and start $#!+ without doing your homework.
as far as straight line acceleration, i think it's still going to go to the rwd cars..i mean, top fuel dragsters aren't awd... and once you get to a certain hp vs weigh mark on awd, the moment those drag slicks "balloon" up, the center or mass on that vehicle rises to compensate for the increase in tire diameter, with slightly more weight over the rear wheels and you have less weight on the front wheels(drive wheels, mind you), which equates to less traction...
in rwd, when the car launches, as close to all the weight of the car ends up over the rear wheels(in cases where it's 100% or more(due to the body wanting to stay in one place, and the tires trying to, in essence, get under the car)), the non drive wheels leave the ground..
also, if both cars have perfect traction and weigh the same, with the same hp and torque, the rwd car will accelerate faster as there are less than half the parts to move
awd however , if tuned properly, will compensate for both understeer and oversteer and yield a higher average speed going through the apex of the turns(the lamborghini diablo's are a perfect example)
so yea, saying that awd>rwd in all cases=noobish
