its a z28 with a ss hood, ss front ground effects and that is what i have been told about it from other f-body enthusiasts
dude... the ls1 motor runs low 13's stock... so i guess that means you should be lower with mods..

sweet new car man and yea like myzcar said that is a 13 second car stock...the lt1 on the other hand is worthless..a friend of mine has one and his best time was 13.4 on an intake exhaust and squeeze.....is it stick or auto?

I don't think its an SS, just has the hood... Should say "SS" instead of "Z28" on the fenders
automatic with full tranny rebuild. trans specialties converter, fair banks shift kit, and race prepared valve body will put me sidways if i want in second gear shift and chirps 3rd gear....... insurance is 1100.00 a year for full coverage, rental car in case of emergency and 50 mi towing anywhere needed. i'm only 18 and still on rents insurance pol. though
my friend dad pulled a best of 13.3 in his 02 camaro ss anniversary edition....they are very fast out of the factory

The SS pakage i believe come with the black roof like cavalier91's unlike the normal Z which i believe is a color matched roof.
the ss is actually slower outta the box due to a 3.24 rear end as oppossed to a 3.42 for the z. and the the claimed 15 hp more wont make up for the gears.

LS1's are spardic... i think the fastest LS1 powered F-body that was comepltely stock (and I mean STOCK not liek how most people its stock with just intake, exhaust, drag radials ect..) ran 12.8 somethign in a 6-speed Formula, my buddies WS-6 6-speed T/A pulled a 12.98 stock, a kid I went to highschool with pulled a 13.6 in a 6-speed SS (thmy buddy who pulled the 12.98 was driving it for him since he can drive the @!#$ out of a manual trans car) The dude I usd to race all the time at work pulls consistant 13.2's in an auto Z... the 13.6 was the slowest I've ever seen a stock LS1 f-body run (and that was with a slipping clutch)
nice car by the way... my advise... lose the bling bling wheels and go with chrome Z06 wheels I promise you it will look @!#$in HOT, no a fan of the grill either but sweet car none-the-less

if i may chime in...that's not an ss hood.. it's not an ss rear spoiler either. Your best bet would be to decode the vin..
^^ yeah that looks likt the LT1 style SS scoop, LS1 SS is alot less shape shaped, more smothed out and subtle and the spoiler you have looks like (for lack of a better explaination) ground effects but for the spoiler, actuall SS is one piece and flares up at the tip/back edge
ignore those rims and that exhaust setup...
(z06 rims, and true dual sidepipes now)
