I had a original 67 camaro (until it got stolen in LA, worst thing that's ever happened to me!) If GM brought back that style on a modern Chassis I would sell everything I owned if I had to and buy one!

Yep it was posted some quite ago and I still don't like it. There was a new picture (artist rendition) floating around, which many GM insiders said it looks very similar. I did not want to bring it just because it is a rumor.
If GM does ever bring out the Camaro, I got to say it has been GM's best kept secret. Because there is still no concrete evidence on how it will look or if it will ever come out.

I think that bringing back the Camaro on the Zeta-platform, or the Zeta-light platform they're talking about would be a huge bonus for GM if they did it right.
I like the pics, it's alittle too much right now, but I'm sure by the time it hits production it will have a much more conservative look. If they use the LS2 and create a fully independent suspension, mate it with a 6 speed tranny, we could have one hell of a muscle cars. And maybe an SS edition with an available LS7.... I believe a 500hp Camaro would be a lovely competition with that POS Dodge is calling the new Charger and the Mustang Shelby GT500.
If they do it right and don't half-ass this car, it could help GM turn it around IMO

well gm cloased the plant in quebec, so they wouldn't have to pay all the outragous union dues and stuff
the local laws kept them from just moving the plant
if it was to come out, it would be sweet

it's cool...the 98-02' camaro's were an acquired taste...as is the body styling on your mustang, mariner....you think my car's hideous, i think if your headlights were any farther apart, they'd be on seperate cars..but as i have said, i was never a fan of that body style..nor was i a fan of the split nose camaro's, or the 82-84's(even tho i own an 83)
but as you said...it's all about opinion...

not even endorsed by GM
it was publicized in an issue of Hot Rod like 3 years ago...
its a shame that GM probably won't do something this cool...
maybe the artist should get a job in GM and start making things not suck in the performance department

i just dont like the front end much, the headlights are eh
and the way the front goes into the rest of the car is kinda wierd to me
