My girlfriends car has apparently had some less than honest and quality work done to it. It started acting up but wasnt showing a CEL so we scanned it and lo and behold someone smashed the CEL bulb. We also found two cut wires in the dash harness. A lighter blue one and a pink one. Any know what these are for?

1989 Turbo Trans Am #82, 2007 Cobalt SS G85

TPS low input I think. We replaced the TPS and its still showing weird throttle position angles and throttle percentages. Figured the wiring is messed up since she lives on a farm and we found a mouse on the engine cradle. Its possible something chewed into the wiring. So Im tracing wires tomorrow.

I dont think the cut wires have anything to do with the code but I just found it weird that the CEL never came on when it kept stalling and dying so my friend pulled the cluster and found the crushed bulb and replaced it.

I cant imagine that the wires are anything super important since the car isnt doing anything else weird besides the surging and dying. Well besides the fact that the ignition key is stuck in the lock cylinder.
