Well my original winter beater was one foot in the grave, and was going down fast. So i went out and got a new winter beater. No, seriously, i got a NEW winter beater. Actually this will be my daily driver for the most part so i needed some thing good on gas and big enough to haul people/dogs/ bike around. And i couldn't beat the deal i was getting.
It's a 2010 Cobalt LS in that cool looking black metallic. I'm not going to mod the crap out of it, but will do some things. but here is a the only pic i have of it right now since my camera crapped out. It shows my first super duper ricer mod, the Audi like LED driving lights. I think they turned out better than i thought and really helps take a little bit of ugly off that god awful factory bumper.
BTW this is chopped to see what it'd look like lowered.
These hub caps are so ugly i want to punch someone in the face. I already have rims picked out.

No I'm am Sidekick-less.
And that really bums me out because that thing was a kick ass uber reliable car. But it was starting to have a few problems that were going to cost me some serious money so i figured since it's still running good and looking good right now it's got some value so i traded it. A true testament to how good of shape that truck was in they actually gave me $2000 on it as a trade. Not bad for a 15 year old Geo with 130,000 miles on it. I kinda feel this Cobalt is a step down (no 4WD, no soft top) but it makes up for it in other ways. Just feels weird being in another compact Chevy.

I like the car, but i think the "super duper ricer mod" is in fact a little ricey, lol. Did joes post with the silver sedan have anything to do with this?
No actually i had the car a day or 2 before Joe's post, and that car gave me just a little hope. Because before he posted the pic of that silver SS i figured there was no way to de-uglyfy the Cobalt sedans. I was on the fence about the ricer mod at first but it's actually pretty classy looking in person. I didn't half ass it and when they are off they are 100% black so you don't even see them. And i was waiting for someone to bring up the "SUKK" part. We all used to laugh at that when these plates were on my last car.

Theres a kid at my school who drives on like that and it has a lip on it. It looks neat.

I agree, the silver sedan in Joes post looks great. What wheels are you going with? What size? Do you miss the sidekick? I have a soft spot for the early sidekick/tracker.... reliable as hell, and actually pretty damn awesome off-road.
1st gen tracker/sidekicks are awesome. not quite Samurai awesome but just as good. in Cali you see a lot of these on the trails. they play hard and still start up the next morning to go to work. Seriously the Suzuki jeeps are the most under rated vehicles of our time. Good deal on the new car though i see the pictures on your profile of the suzuki and it looked super clean so i see why it must have been hard to let it go.

My grandpa has a 5 speed sidekick that he picked up a few years ago as a mountain beater instead of using his 4wd pickup...it's a tank
Jooky...those super duper rice lights...are they just for show,or do they throw some light out there?
selling my truck....let me know if your interested.

not a fan of balt sedan's at all, my girl drives one and i hate it. but those lights look good, i like em alot.
with a little bit of work that car could look real nice.
hhmmm, u hate the hubcap design huh?
i actually love it.....if it were a rim, and not a hubcap!
if those were 17" rims, in that design, i would have a WTT
ad up on Delta and CSS for my 17" SS's! hahahaha!
