Just driving home and my 2000 Mitsu Mirage 1.8L turned off while taking the turn into my neighborhood and now it wont turn over. It will crank, just doesn't sputter or try and fire in any way.
---Pulled the fuel filter and drained it and cranked the engine and fuel is def coming out so I don't think it's the pump.
---Replaced one of the coils with a brand new one I had and flipped-flopped them around and no change.
---Removed the timing cover and looked at the belt and no teeth missing and is still tight
Only other things I can think of is something electrical in the ignition or computer or just the fuel pressure regulator is not working.
Please HELP!! I'm a full time student and I work too so I'm screwed right now!!!
Pontiac Died awhile ago when someone hit me on the interstate and put me into the gaurdrail and didn't even stop after hitting me, a-holes... But I hope the old j-body.org can still help me
i had a similar problem once and it turned out to be a fuel safety cut off switch, it was located behind the trim on
the passenger side front door hinge pillar, had to just push it in like a reset switch.
