surface looks decent, however you may want to fully check the underside of that thing , sitting on grass for that long.....
**changes are here**
It is a rare car and a 1 in a million find, but dont get your hopes up. I wouldnt expect that car to be in salvageable condition. But anyways good luck.

Wow nice find, just be ready to empty your bank account to fix it up. I just got a 77 camaro and will be buying things for it for the next 5 years. I dont know how you go about getting a car sitting like that. is it in somebodys yard or in somebodys property? if not bring a trailer and bring it home i guess.
Chances are it's just sitting there cause the owner refuses to sell it, or is asking a ridiculous amount for it. I see cars like that a lot just rotting away because the ignorant owner refuses to sell it.
Is that a patch of weed growing around it?
Forget "next time". make next time ASAP. That car doesn't deserve that.

There are enough parts re-popped for those cars all you need is a roof and a VIN tag, you can buy all the rest.

Honestly, just pull up in a flatbed when the guy isn't there and take her lol. She deserves to be fixed.

I'm seriously sorry to break this to you. but there's no such thing as a 1968 Camaro SS327. They made a lot of different Super Sports like the Nova and Impala with the 327, but never ever a Camaro. The base Camaro Super Sport engine was the 350. The car's probably a 327, but I can guarantee that it's not an SS.
Check it out.

That was my thought exactly... but still, if you have the knowledge with welding and bodywork, and are willing to put the time in, it certainly does qualify for "diamond in the rough" status...

Man, isn't that the truth. I've run into that a lot. Pieces of compressed rust with a oak tree growing out of the dash and the owners won't sell them because "someday" they're going to get to it.
There are a few owners that realize that the time will never come, so they sell. I got lucky with buying my truck. Now i just need to get settled so i can start building it.

it could be a sweet car in someone elses hands
found out some possible good news, my grandmother's, friend's, son's boss owns most of the land around where he car is and might own the land that the car is sitting on
that would be good
hurry up and rescue that bitch
