Well ive been pretty much quite all winter doing some lurkin over at clublexus and trying to get some parts. Really wanted to lower the car however they dont make any coilover suspensions for the AWD GS. I got talking to Curcuit Motorsports out of Florida and we have arranged a deal with BC Racing to develop the first ever coilovers for the AWD GS. Hopefully should have them by the first or second week of May. Theres are just some of the AWD IS coilovers that they produce. The GS ones will be pretty much identical.







and to go with the new suspension, i just picked up a set of 20" MRR wheels, running a 245/35/20 tire. May not keep these, not sure yet.





Hopefully by mid May ill have pics of everything installed on the car.

I'm iffy on the wheels. They r a nice design, but I'm unsure how they will look installed

well heres what my car should look like with those wheels and lowered. my car is the same color as pictured. i bought them because they give the car a stock look.

I like that too. Does have a nice clean stock feel. Looks good. Good job on the coil overs too, does it seem to be a hot buy or do not that many want coil overs?

No it seems to be a hot thing over at clublexus with the awd people wanting to lower their car without any vibrations. They currently only make suspension parts for the rwd gs. Only problem is all the companies that are willing to make things for the awd version are located in areas where only the rwd version is sold so it was hard for them to obtain an awd car. Luckly we have a member who shipped his car off to BC Racing to get these developed.

Thanks joey. That was the point of those wheels. Give the car a nice stock clean look while still havin a slight modified look to it. Now if I can only save 4k for the job design lip kit LOL

lol yea the wheels look way different on the car. after months of looking at wheels ive noticed this a lot. i saw alot of wheels i liked but then seen them on the car and it just looked terrible.

its been a couple of months but i have a few more updates. i decided to get rid of the 20s as i didnt think they would fit right so i upgraded to 22". rims are custom painted to match the car with a polished lip. also have a couple extra tires, just in case.









also finally got rid of the horrible chrome pillars that have been on the car since i bought it. the roof has recently been blacked along with the chrome trim that use to go around the windows












more pics to come hopefully next week when the car gets lowered and the rims put on.

How is the maintenance on one of those? is the cost of ownership on a Lexus high? You usually hear about how expensive it is on bmws and Mercedes but never Lexus
