my other car "low oldz" 56k your in for a doozie

since no one has ever seen pics of my alero and what i have done to it i will do so and explain what has been done
the 2nd time around i did flames shaved the handles, wheels tires, air ride, custom made trim panles, i drove the @!#$ out of the car, and this si what it looked like

so that was in 2005, the same yr i gutted the whole car, it was just a shell, a friend of mine i respectfully call mexican chip foose had some great ideas, like making my one off hood, using the aed body kit, making a one off fuel door, headlight conversion using 1999 eclipse headlights, frenching 59 caddy tail lights, making a one off deck lid, full leather and alligator interior, rear bucket seats, allot of one off billet aluminum parts, complete system, big brake kit, turbo, new easy street struts, dakota digital controler, dakota digital had my gauge cluster for a one off digital , i bought all parts, allot of money drained my savings account in making one bad ass olds
drawing after drawing, concept after concept, the body work started, day after day of stripping old paint off, the frenching started, the hood started, and then it all stopped, the car sat in my garage for 3 yrs, didnt even touch the car, i was burnt out, being a single parent is my first priority, and working for her to make her life was more important at this time
after the 3 yrs of sitting, i switched jobs no more stress, iam happy i can breath, the shop i work for now, is family owned and run, and i work with someone i worked with almost 10 yrs ago, nad he has always been a talented man, i saw him pull up with a 29 rat rod that made my jaw drop, i showed him my car and he got me back and into the car, and where i work we can work on our own stuff, if we need stuff we get it and pay the boss back when we have the money, so i did just that, i sold everything i had, minus the new struts, bought all the mechanical parts i needed to get it running again,
with in 2 days i had the car mechaniclly running, and on the ground!!! whhhooooo hhhoooooooo!!!!
so i took piece by piece to work took my time re did everything, rebuilt the interior, all sheet metal back on the car, the unibody modified to sit lower, front bumper shaved, shaved handle kit up and running again, i swear it was like it was a time warp and the car fired right up, no issues at all!!! the a/c still blows cold!!!!
so at this point where iam at right now i nned new tires, i will have new exhaust, i may do a flame thrower kit, insurance is back on the car, and i need a drivers side window regulator, everything is done that had to be done, doors forward are done!!! car drives great, runs strong, ecotec power bitches!!!! the rear of the car is almost done, the rear bumper will be ready soon, iam a ole skool guy no paint this time around just primer and my striper will do all old von dutch stripes on it
on to the pics its not for everyone to like, i like it its different its loud and low enjoy!!!

Do yourself a favour, if you want to do a satin black finish, get the paints that actually have a satin primer coat as the top layer.

The old-school look is great, but it really sucks ass when the paint absorbs its first rain shower.

Looks good otherwise, I wouldn't have gone with the 59 caddy tails, because... they look better on a 59 caddy. I would have gone with a custom set of either 2/4 frenched round LEDs for the turn signals , and a set of white led back up lights done the same way in the trunk lid if you wanted to. Think ES 300 style.

ya but every car i have seen uses those tail lights "oh look lexus tail lights" 59 caddy tail lights different i was goin to do 59 olds tail lights and use a tear drop inn the deck lid, its not every day you see a car using 59 caddy or anything on a car as far as the primer goes, iam not worried this primer will withstand allot of abuse, and it wont see rain or snow, like i said it would takes yrs for anything to happen to this primer
