Ok so I know that the production of this model has been confirmed already. I believe it is due out at the end of the 2nd quarter of 08, but I have not been able to get much on the possible price range. Being that it is the same engine model as the current Solstice GXP and Saturn Sky, I was leaning towards expecting a price of around $28-30k. But last night I was at the Columbus International Auto show and the salespeople were leaning more towards a range of $22- 26k. (although they really didn't seem to know what they were talking about in other areas). Has anyone in the GM knowhow heard anything? I'm looking towards this being a grad present at the end of summer so any help would be awesome!
Also I was curious as I also heard a rumor that they may be making the Cobalt SS T a rear wheel drive? I kinda doubt this as the current Cobalt model are all FWD, but since the Solstice is already a RWD make, wouldn't that be sick if they changed it up for this model? And 30+ mpg for a turbo? Hmmm.....
Also anything about a possible Delta II upgrade? I've been hearing things about awaiting til 2009-2010 for the Delta IIs to come out.
Here's a link for a little help.
