Is the G8 built on the new CTS's platform? They look very similar. BTW I had not seen one until I googled it after I saw this post, uber sexy car.

No. CTS is built on Sigma platform. G8 built in Australia by Holden on a derivative of Zeta platform.

Nope. It is a Holden chassis, GM calls it "Zeta." This chassis is what is underpinning the next Camaro too.
CTS is a GM of N-A designed platform called "Sigma."

MSRP is gonna be just under 30k, like $29,995 or something like that. Fully loaded it's going to cost like $32,750 or something. This thing is gonna be the absolute best bargain for speed, period. 361 hp + RWD for 33,000? Good lord I want one. The interior is even pretty sweet too, aside from the huge nav-like screen that doesn't even have navigation. But that's beside the point, which is that this car has 361 hp and RWD for about 30k.
