* * BIG FOR SALE POST * *
Is it me or is EVERY truck slowly turning into a Ford F series?
Seriously...from this:
Chevy's look
GMC's look
Ford's look
Dodge's look
To this:
Chevy's way of making everything boxy and boring
GMC's way of making everything boxy and boring
Ford's way of
keeping everything boxy and boring
Dodge's way of making everything boxy and boring
Come on now... I liked the days of all the trucks having their own look, not they're all starting to just blend together.

I guess this proves they really have gone as far as they can with this mini "Big Rig" look. Now they're stretching it as past good taste. Time for something new folks. This comes off as trying too hard...and yet looks like they didn't try hard enough at the same time.

The Tundra is the only new truck that isn't boxy.. that is probably why they are selling so well. They don't look like every other truck on the road.

But its just sooo bleh.
Too many problems and w/ no heavy duty models its pretty well worthless in any commercial application.
Hell the toyota dealership down the street from my house has a brand new 3500 silverado tow 3 of their tundras to the lot a few times a week.

Exactly...but it looks like it wants to cry. Introducing everybody the all new 2009 Dodge Lancer EMO X with the newest option available...cut your wrists at the push of a button. And the color? They knew it was ugly already so they just threw on the ugliest paint known to mankind?
First thing I thought, oh wow look, it's got down syndrome! Kinda like the 03+ cavaliers.

First thing I thought of when I saw the picture was a Ford truck. Definitely not a good change.

eh, not so great. I like the 06-current the best, they are nice - except for the interior, they're worse than a Cavalier as far as hard shiny grey plastic, but so are all Dodges
yea i really dont like that... i definitely agree with jlaudiocavalier
this is my favorite model ... and thats my truck

you didnt like my emo joke? not even a little? it was a nice try.
At first glance I felt the same way as most people are feeling here, but the more I look at it the more I like it. Though I have alot of mixed feelings about the new Dodge designs across the board, I don't think this is a boxy and plain as some of you are saying. The only boxy change that I see is the sharp lines on the fenders and bed, and the one thing that I do really like is the SRT-10 style side design that looks to be now stamped in the sheetmetal. The front reminds me alot of a Ford Superduty, but I wouldn't go as far as saying they copied anyone. It also looks like they made the rear door and cab bigger, which is good because I think they had the smallest rear doors of any quadcab out there (unless of course you got a megacab). Overall I like it, just really curious what the back is going to look like, which hopefully doesn't have those ugly bubble-style lights like they just slapped on the 07s.

I personally don't like any of the looks of any of the trucks out there right now.
