The Clubman is nearly 9.4 inches longer than a standard coupe, granting a 9-inch boost in cargo space and an extra 3 inches of rear legroom. In spite of this boost, cars headed to the U.S. seat only four passengers; European-spec models squeeze an extra seating position on the rear bench seat.
In order to access the new created space, Mini added a total of three doors to the Clubman. A small Saturn-style half-door lies behind the passenger door, allowing rear-seat passengers extra room to slide inside. The Clubman also bypasses the rear liftgate in favor of two side-hinged "barn doors," much like the original Traveler.
The Clubman will be available in Cooper (120-hp, 1.6-liter I4) weighing in at 2689lbs, Cooper S (175-hp, turbocharged 1.6-liter I4) weighing at 2821lbs. Look for the Clubman in American showrooms in the first quarter of 2008.

Ehh...not for me

I like mini's...but the stretch just ruined it for me...to each his own.

The longer wheel base is cool, but I'm not liking the demi-door.

I dig it. I'd consider rocking it if I weren't so large a dude...

eww, i love the new mini's but this idk i just cant bare to look at... its so uggly. the strech really wrecks the look of the car for me
