The A/C Ace is a beautiful car... it doesn't strike me that it's a likely candidate for a transplant. The body lines of the fox-bodied 'Stangs are way off, way too square and edgy. The Ace is a lot more curvy like a Jaguar.
Personally: It's not my cup of tea. It looks way out stilted and jammed together.

the AC Ace... you know, the one ton British two-seat roadster with an aluminum body. Imported to the US in the early sixties by Carroll Shelby. Eventually had a 260 V8 dropped into it, followed by the 302, and then the 427. Also known as the Shelby Cobra. That thing
