hey everyone i am goin in tommmorow to order my cobalt supercharged. i'm tryin to decide the options right now . ... what would be the difference if i didn't get the limited slip differential??
1500 dollars and a really sweet pair of seats (assuming your fairly normally sized) The Recaro seats are worth it to me, the LSD is a plus. Although if you like the colored inserts, then you can't get the LSD. If your not planning on upgrading it or driving it hard, it's probably not worth the extra money though.

i have had my 06 cobalt for a few months now and i love the thing. i got everything in it. and i only paid 18G for it out the door. but i have the 2.4 5 speed. for the S/C one get the LSD that will also give you the Recaro seats. if your geting the 07s there new 18inch rims that are polished not painted and you get a better radio and a nicer looking steering wheel and better trim on the dash. theres a new red for the car to that looks really nice i have the orange one and i love that color. also dont ask any cobalt questions on this site most them hate the car so go over to cobaltss.net to get some real info on the car.
LSD is definatly worth the money

please reconsider, for lets say 18-20k your going to be spending on this car, you can pick up a used c5 corvette, srt-4+ mods, LS1 Camaro or Trans Am. but if you really want the cobalt, get the LSD
GET THE LSD. if you plan to mod or just drive the car hard on the road or track, you will want the LSD very bad.

Aside from possibly the Neon. He would obviously not have to care about insurance or gas. 2 things that would make a $400 car payment into a $800 car payment.

The Recaros are ok for fat dudes, im about 5'11" 260 lbs and im plenty comfortable in them.

hey . well the cobalt didn't work out . now i drive a 04 chevy blazer xtreme. fully decked out . nice little truck .it has the 4.3 vortech in it . i'm trying to find a way to turbo or supercharge it . can anyone help me ?
Drop a 350 in it! Kinda sucks that you fell for the "xtreme" line. You were better off buying a F-150 Lightning

Actually you can get a SS Supercharged out the door for well under $20K, $17,800 here. Not to mention you can get teh upgrade kits and everything is still under warranty, and you'll be just as fast as Trans Am or Z28.. SS Stage 2 gets you 245hp and mid 13s

not where i live
it starts at 20 and with the lsd and recaros it jumps to 22ish, plus any other add ons, plus tax title and licensing and youll get a 23k vehicle easy
plus id rather get the TA or Z28, as it comes faster stock and is made faster easier
