My 67' Olds

Well a while back I inherited a 1967 Oldsmobile Delmont 88. Problem was it was sitting on a lot the family owns for 20 years untouched. Well this weekend i decided to rent a UHaul and car transport and finally bring it back. Took 3 days to get it out of where it sat.

The Delmonts a pretty rare car as itself but this one came with the optional 425 V8 (which I intend to swap with the 455)
Day 1 :

The Car when I found it, 4 completely flat and stuck wheels.

interior.

I opened up the hood to take a look at the motor and it seems that some chipmunks turned the engine bay into a hotel:

Day 2 :
4 new tires, 5 bucks a peice, not bad.

A lil midnight towin'

Day 3 :

Towed it down the road by a tow line to the trailer.

Ready to load it up on the car trailer:

towin it up on the trailer:

All loaded up:

4 hours later in front of the house after i power washed the hell out of her:

The thing needs a lot of work but the frames are all fine and almost all of the rust is just surface.
Imma throw up a progress blog soon so ill have a link here right away.

Sweet my first car was an 66 olds 98 2dr that I bought from my grandparents. It had the high compression 4bl 425 (I think like 385 hp) it was pretty quick for a huge 20 ft long car.

You're probably going to have a hard time finding parts for it. I could never find anything for mine except from hemmings $$$. My friend had the same problem restoring a 65 starfire that he had. The web is alot bigger now then it was back then (8 years ago) so you might get lucky...

Sweetness, though I don't plan on owning any I got alot of love for BOP.

Def. keep the 425, nobody likes to see motors in any car that didn't belong there from the factory. (or at least I don't, haha)

Awesome Id definetly keep the 425, I really like the shot of the engine bay, for some reason it cracked me up.
