Pretty damn cool but it must suck for the guy that has to ride on the roof to shift gears when it rains.
I like to think I have a decent knowledge of cars but whats with the "performance long shifter" I always thought that shorter was better.

Jabbles
That is how it supposed to be done.

Sounds like this....when it had the LS1...
Currently under the knife. Transplant surgery.
ugly or not
and I never said a stock honda was an ugly car (cept for the 06's)
that @!#$ is sweet.

I thought I had seen that car before. it was in scc
"
boobs now with Riboflabin"
That car was featured in the February 2006 issue of Sport Compact Car. The guy made something upward of 230whp.

A Short shifter is talking about the throw of the shift. The angles of the sifter makes it so you don't have shift it so far to shift gears. If that makes since.
Making the sifter so long keeps the right hand closer to the stearing wheel when you shift. It is a must if you are road racing. If you watch World Rally Races you will see the shifter is actually mounted on the dash board next to the stearing wheel.
I would rather have Drew's SR20 Sentra sleeper. With that Civic, you get associated with a bunch of asshats with the same car sans turbo.

Sold 2/2/05
yeah the car was in SCC, i think they said it put like 225 down...either way that is one hell of a sleeper....BOV in the airbox, talk about taking it to the limits.
I give that guy huge respect. I have always wanted to do something along the lines of that but never was able to not show it off. I always got a kick out of telling people at the Auto X's that there was nothing under the hood of my car after I beat their times...

1998 EK Civic Hatch - Yes, it's a Honda.
nice, ill take that....just so i can see the look on ppl's face after i race them and smoke em
now its just a thought, but im thinking it may loose its effect as a sleeper when that blow off valve releases pressure
I dought it would be all that loud in the air box. it would have been even quiter if it didn't vent into the air at all.

yeah, all in the throw. I member back in HS people would CUT their shifter off and say they had a short throw shifter
