well, the mailman was nice enough to bring me my new (to me) supercharger yesterday! took a little work, but i got it cleaned up (used superchargers are nasty dirty). after a ratchet, a rubber mallet, and some prying, i finally got the stupid thing apart. y'know, you never know exactly how somethin works till you take it apart, what fun!
here it is in pieces (didnt take a picture before i got it apart)
it's soon to be ported, polished, and painted and added to these
to make one hell of a car.
cant wait to get it all together. but im afraid to get it in before the snow's gone! i still wanna be able to drive the thing.

yeah, all going into the GTP. XP cam, new lifters, pushrods, rockrs, injectors, timing set, valve springs/retainers/locks, O2 sensor, a 3.3" pulley, new plugs/wires. there are PEM's sitting on the other side of my room, plus the blower.
just a little winter project.

so why the new supercharger?? is it an upgrade? or was the other one @!#$?
neither, really. the new blower actually came because of a project my friends working on which includes an M90. he's got a '95 4.3L blazer, and we're going to put the Eaton on top with 5-6 lbs of boost. should make for some fun times. it's going to take him a little bit to get that project going, though, so in the meantime i have a blower just sitting around my house. since i paid for it (he'll pay me back when his project gets going) it's kinda mine to do with as i please, so im going to port and polish it so i dont have to go without my car. i'll just prep this one, and bolt it on when im doing all the other work.
