V-Platform? Could this be the GTO?

My friend has a 04 GTO and its been killing him to find out what the thing is, but he just sent me this link for the Helm manual for the car.

I've never heard of the V-Platform, maybe Rob or someone can speculate on this.

Heres the Link

I don't understand. You don't know what a GTO is?

Do a search for Holden Monaro, you may see some similarities.

The 4th digit of the VIN is the body code. That would make the GTO a V body.

Why don't you guys list the Saturn L-Series in the about us section?

Yes I know what one is, just for some reason people want to put a label on the platform even though is Austrailian. I just thought it interesting that this company labeled it the 'V-Platform"

I'm not a huge fan of the new GTO (Id rather have an y or f body myself) but If I had the money for one I'd get it because I love my friends goat.
