Anybody know what the top speed (limited of course) of the new cobalts is? My sunfire is limited to 108 and i can pull away from the cobalts by a little on the top end. Just wondering.
i'm sure the GM Delta site would have info.

stop smoking.
lol i wonder what the ratio of smoking/lung cancer deaths is to street racing deaths per year?
(not saying smoking is more dangerous, just curious)

I would say people die from street racing more persay. most people smoke for 20 to 30 plus years versus most kids die from street racing before they hit 25. so thats only 9 years of driving tops

delta has the upgraded suspension design for faster speed but i don't know exact ball park would say 120 mph on the 2.2/2.4 and 145mph on the SS 2.0SC
144
1989 Turbo Trans Am #82, 2007 Cobalt SS G85
The base model is limited at 115 I believe....
The SS/SC is NOT limited... so far I've pegged mine out at 149... just wouldn't go any faster... and I must say its poise at 149 was amazing... solid as a rock, no floating, no drifting, no vibrations..... it felt like maybe i was going 100...
I dunno about the 2.4 SS... havn't heard anything on them yet.
Oh, and don't bother flaming me for going to fast, it was on the interstate at 4 in the morning with NO cars in sight. I'm not stupid enough to want a ticket for doing 150 in a 70..... or kill anyone other than myself.
