are the tires that are better than others sizes makes that kind of things
I just run old or scalloped winter tires myself... they have an aggressive enough tread to dig and are still street enough to handle-ish.
As for specific tires, i find the Goodyear Nordic's seem to work the best as far as that goes, but i imagine there's actual dirt tires you can get.
