I'm going to the track this weekend to run him. His car is stock, I have bolt on's. I don't know anything about CRX's. Just wondering what you guys think the outcome will be.
Thanks.
... road course or drag? Drag if hes stock it wont be a challenge.

all he will do is drag. I wouldn't mind road course tho.
stock CRXs are less than 100whp to the wheels
1989 Turbo Trans Am #82, 2007 Cobalt SS G85
what crx? there was three motors in those years (89-91) dont forget even though your eco might have more power he has A WHOLE LOT less weight.
I looooved my crx, I had a 91 with the d16z6 swap, intake, header, cat back, short shifter, wheels/tires. mmm that car was bad ass for such minor mods done to it. and I weigh under 150lbs so its like no1 was driving it lol. fun little cars.
If he is stock it would vbe a waste of your gas.
when my z was mostly stock i raced one. He beat me by 3 car lengths and he missed a gear. He had full exhaust and an intake, not sure which engine. My car is an auto so that didnt help.
depends on the engine.
if its swapped to a B, H, or K series you're going to get spanked.
CRX weigh less than 2000lbs. they don't need a lot of power to be quicker than j-bodies.
also, be careful when honda guys say "stock".. their definition of stock usually includes full exhaust and motor swaps.
Like skwirl siad. If its a B series swapped crx your probably SOL. If its a stock engined car shouldnt be a problem
He runs low 8's in the 1/8 mile..........shouldn't be a problem....LOL
Exactly what squirrel says, about 99.9% of the honda people around here and that I know will say its stock motor or maybe few bolt-ons but the motor didnt come stock in the car. For instance, my friend has a crx with h22 swap, its stock except for i/h/e lol.
to most honda owners, stock simply means its not boosted.
to everyone else in the world, stock might refere to the way it cam from the manufacturer or just a simply intake or drop in KnN or something...

I agree with skwirl when you ask if a honda owners car is stock they assume that thier 5,000$ motor swap with an intake is *stock*.. just not in thier civic however.

Theres a bossted black one around here i struggle to keep up with, but its not really a spanking tho. i can hold him off for quite a while. Im pretty sure its the stock (manufacturer installed) 1.5 tho.
about 100 hp but they weight 1800-2000 pounds depending on the year
Working on obtainting an M-Class license... ?? Hint: 2 wheels.
Its prob a $800 ls (b18b1) swap thats i/h/e thats gonna rape the sh*t outta you.
no way he runs low 8 second 1/8ths i think hes gonna take the honda
