How can I get my drl lights off in 2002 Chevrolet cavalier coupe ls when the button to turn them on and off with gone was when I bought the vehicle didn't even know my vehicle had such thing till other day was reading about it my understanding the drl could be the reason my headlights are very dim at night.is it possible to get them off without any code issues or if I just installed led lights in. My car will o have any issue with that?

There is no switch for the drl in a J.

The only way to disable them in an 00+ is grounding the correct wire from the bcm. Pretty easy and is on the org here some place.

Odds are if your lights are dim its either the bulbs or the wiring, possibly the headlight switch itself.

Led lights will work fine with no issue but make sure to get a quality set, not the $60 or less ones from Amazon and eBay. Before you can install them though you will need to disable drl anyway.
