Hi everyone! Just trying to find out what the differences are in a 99 and a 02 z24 engine harness? Trying to put a 99 2.4 in a 02 z24 . Thanks.

The harness has quite a few differences. Why are you not using the 02 engine harness on the 99 engine? It is 100% plug and play if you use the 2002 sensors.

If it is a 99 LD9 auto harness I would be interested in purchasing it from you. The 99 harness is only for 99s. The O2 sensor is the main issue, but a few of the pin outs at the firewall main connector are also different.

I don't have the 99 harness to physically see the difference. I was told by several people the two harnesses are different. But I had installed a 99 ld9 in an 02 sunfire in the past. Everything worked perfect except the abs module due to the plug being different. That was using the 99 harness In an 02 with an 01 ecu.

I'm 100% sure they are different. You didn't have any oxygen sensor codes, and other random things not working. They are about 90% the same.
