I have a 2.2 Cav. And 1000 dollars to drop into it at this moment. Im looking at performance. How can i get the most out of the money i have. Thnaks any ideas would be helpful
If you want to go fast then go with a used supercharger setup from a newer cobalt. If you want to handle well id say go coilovers. Either way will cost around that $1k budget you have.

the supercharger from the colbalt will fit on the L61 motor? what year/gen should i look into
I fear you'll be in for a little more than 1000 though. More like 1200-1500 unless you wait for years until the right deal comes along. If you have any other questions about it feel free to ask.

could i find one at a junk yard such as pull a part and if i did what is the likelihood of it working properly the yard by my house has 3 colbalt ss there
I've never seen a cobalt ss in a yard so if you have them that's great. M62s are pretty hard to break. I'd try to find one with the stock pulley on it so it's more likely that it hasn't been spun to the moon for years. Even so, they last a long time.
