Hello, I was just wondering if anybody has directions for installing one? I have a 96 2.2L. I know you have to take old assembly off...then ? Thanks
Its pretty straight forward, its nothing more than some pipes and clamps. Not hard at all. Just dive in.

I Just installed a short ram on my 95 2.2, i used a universal kit. i routed it to the factory air box (which i removed). the only tricky part was the air flow sensor, which just required drilling a hole into the intake, inserting a rubber grommet and then inserting the sensor into the grommet. start to finish the whole process was quick about 20 minutes and easy.
1)disconnect the the airflow sensor from the wire harness and remove the sensor (put it somewhere you won't loose in the engine bay!)
2) remove the factory intake tube from the air box
3) remove the air box from the engine bay (if you desire)
4)if you buy a application specific intake it's a really simple bolt on installation
a) lay the system out in the engine bay to test fit
b) when the system looks correct simply put the hose clamps over the boots and tighten down
c) the bolt on system should include a hole for the air flow sensor, insert it in the hole and reconnect to the harness
d) connect the silicon line from the intake tube to the crank case
5)close the hood, start the car and hope you did it right
