I took off the stock hub caps due to the person before me that had the car hit a lot of curbs and bent the rims. Today when I got new tires I had them take them off and just not have anything on there right because I could hear the hub caps off and making crazy noises. Will the "rim" rust out if I don't put any other hub caps on or am I ok leaving them off for a little bit?

Steelies wont rust when you leave the hub caps off. I roll around all winter on my stocks with no hub caps and they're still fine.
