whats up guys? Well hears my question, I have a 2002 2.4 Z24 Cav. Its the motor a eco-tec or what because it doesn't say on it, Im new to this stuff I guess you can say.
nope its a 2.4 ld9 150 hp, the eco is a 2.2. there is also 2200 motor. in 2005 they started with a 2.4 eco. welcome to the

I think he trying to ask what year did the z24 switch too 2.2ecos? right?
2002 had Z24 Eco's, but the Z24 was discontinued in the US when they stopped putting the 2.4 in. If your in canada, or you have a canadian car (which you probably don't if you are in the US), then you may have an Eco Z24. The easiest way to tell is to open your hood, if the top of the engine has a black stripe that says "Ecotec" then you have one. If it has a cover with a bunch of horizontal strips and the words "2.4 Twin Cam", then you don't.
