Well im looking into installing a A pillar gauge pod and gauges on my car next. Im not sure on what gauge pod to get , The performance shop in my area said they could modify a cavalier one for my car for 59.99 plus labour but if im gonna start modifying couldnt I just get a 29.99 universal one from canadian tire? Anyone here have any experience if those things are any good and if they turn out a good finished job its a ractive universal a pillar pod.
jason at aplusperformance.com sells a full A pillar replacement for our cars.it holds 3 gauges. fits like stock, no modding necessary. i have one and i love it. plus, jason is an awesome guy to deal with
They said they could modify a Cavalier one? Are they retarded? Your pillar is EXACTLY THE SAME as a Cavalier pillar. Same part number. Same part.
Did they offer to charge you an extra hour of labour to do the modification?
Find another performance shop that's not trying to fleece you.

so for sure a cavalier one is exacly the same ? I want to put 3 gauges in so what does everyone think I should put ? if its made for a cavalier what kind of job is it to install it screw on ? stick on ? Im really considering all faze gauges I seen them and really like the look .
the one i got from A plus has a screw. but i didnt install it yet.
im putting in a EGT gauge, feul pressure, and nitrous pressure gauge, and possibly something else. but that is just me.

What part of "Same part number. Same part." did you not understand?
ok it is a direct replacement for 59.99 the whole story is they could modify one they have there to fit because they have to order the cavy one.
