...I bought another Cavalier...
The good news is, it has a built engine with an NVG tranny swap (much stronger than the stock Isuzu) and was running around 450hp until about 6 months ago when the previous owner parted the turbo setup out. It needs and intake manifold, intake, exhaust manifold and downpipe, but thankfully I have a whole parts car sitting around.

Plan is to get it back under boost as soon as possible. I'll be running a pretty small turbo since this car will be built mainly for AutoX, so I want as much low end power as possible. Hopefully I'll be able to spool at about 2000rpm and get close to 300whp.
Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.
Nice..I loved this car in all its glory.....every detail was so clean.
Glad it went to a owner whos going to take care of it and build it back up!
that has to be one of the cleanest Z24 i have seen in a long time
I was waiting for you to post this thread. Lol

RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...
Love it. Front filler plate and call it done. Doesnt need much exterior wise. Under the hood.... its going to be tough to spool by 2000 rpm and have 300hp.... you will either run out of air for a turbo that will spool by 2000 or you will hit 300 and not spool by 2000....
if it were me id find something around a saab/mitsu size. that will increase power but be auto x friendly.
best mistake u coulda made in my books lol
Skr8 Goodz in tha hood
Sweeeet, glad its gonna be around again.

pretty sure I have a filler plate here too if you wanted it. . .
I need a new sig.
I would bet it will still cool plenty with the filler plate in there.
If not it needs FMIC right away!
Nice man, Best of luck. I pretty much know everything "weird" about 99s. So if you have any questions feel free to ask.
