Brick wall fell on the Fire
Wednesday, December 07, 2011 2:14 AM
As the title states, a brick wall fell on the sunfire. There i was sitting in drive thru at Burger King, just ordered my food and pulled up when i noticed the wall started to crumble beside the car in front of me. It collapsed on to its self, but all of a sudden the part of it next to me swayed forward, then back. When it swayed forward again, it came crashing down onto my car. Luckily neither of us was hurt, and i wasn't pulled up where i was suppose to have been. If i was tho, it would've came crashing down on top of where i was sitting. The construction crew that was working on the concrete pad where the dumpster goes is taking care of all the damages on both of our cars. Waiting on Insurance to see if they are gonna repair or total it out. Heres the pics....

If the construction company is taking care of it, how come you are going through insurance?

I was gonna say the same thing! haha

I would imagine it's not totaled since it seems to be pretty easily repairable. Hood, fender, probably just a repaint of the bumper (can't tell from the pic if there is more damage), maybe a headlight/marker light. Depending on the check, you may be able to sang a carbon fiber hood out of the deal (may be cheaper than a new hood and paint).

luckly it looks strictly cosmentic and doesnt seem anywheres near a total. that would be so lame to total it over this minor stuff. hope all works out.

That would piss me off to no end!!! Take those bastards for everything. U need hood, fender, bumper, sideskirt, side marker. Maybe headlight. COMPLETE respray of the car, of course wet sanded and buffed. If they replace headlight I would insist on replacing both so they match. I'm brutal when it comes to this stuff, make those bastards pay!

Sry its taken so long to respond, busy with work due to the christmas season. I opened the hood and i got lucky in the fact that all the damage is merely cosmetic, but im having a hard time dealing with their insurance. The construction company's isurance wants to investigate... i mean is investigating to see wether it was their clients or BK's fault/ Been rasing hell with them all week to no aval.... so far it only needs the following....

- Hood
- Fender
- bumper
- headlight
- turnsignal

I am going to order a VIS hood, and if i have enough left over, im going ot paint my mirrors and door handles.

Damn Wade WTF.

I'd milk the @!#$ out of that if I were you, it's just more money in your pocket. I'd take your worse wheel and put it on that side and tell them they need to replace that as well.

Hope it works out for ya bud.
