I usually don’t post pics of my Cav, much less start a build thread of it…..so we will see how this goes. I have not driven the Cav since September 2008 when I heard rod knock about 30 mins from home. I managed to limp it home without the motor showing me its rods. I was not too upset as I had most of the parts ready to build another motor ( at the time ). Long story short, ( changed my mind a lot ) I sold most of those parts to build something else, when I bought Atomic’s motor cheaper than I could finish my other plan.
When I got the motor home…
Engine on stand to check the bottom end…hmmm no windage tray and a different way to do the 2.3 oil pump
Added missing windage tray. It will probably get sent out for oil shed coatings
Nice 7qt oil pan
Pulled 086 head off to see O-ringed block and 9:1 pistons with no valve reliefs??? I also snapped off a cam tower bolt in the process. All of them had blue loc-tite on them
I have a lot more parts on the way for the car and a few parts getting painted. I will upload more pics later

Yep I do have some more parts, but a wise man told me never to show my entire hand
Here is a custom bracket I had made for my coilpacks
Thanks to OEM for wrapping my IDI cover in carbon fiber. I had all the ribs and letter ground down smooth, then sent to OEM for wrap.
Here is my polished HO manifold. It is extrude honed with a 67mm tbody opening
I found this @ Ptuning not too long ago ( brand new )

Wow...I never thought I would have something that you don't
I bought the pulley last fall, and they still had a couple in stock at the time. I am pretty sure I have a MD-LD9 alt pulley around too

Wow...more info on that big square intake manifold?
Oh and beautiful LG0 manifold. How did you get it so nicely polished? I did my runners only....too much time and effort for the bottom that isnt seen. But I want that now
GMR has got nothing on this

The funny part is while you have the header from that motor, I used to have the JMTS header you are using
I thought about buying the header with the motor, but I never planned on using a T4 size turbo

Atomic made the square intake manifold for his project and I bought it with the motor. The manifold was setup for a 75mm BBK throttle body on the passenger side.
If things go as planned, I could be talked into selling the polished intake manifold

You have one, and if you can not find it, I have one that would match that pulley perfect. It is the alternator pulley design like this one. I have one still from 2005ish.

The alt pulley I have I bought from Mastin and is identical to the one in your signature

One of my parts showed up.
It will need a little work to fit the motor better. I will also need to do something with that coolant line
