Okay, I finally hit the jackpot at the junkyard. I've been to the junkyard thousands of times and well NEVER have I seen a LGO. It even still had the IDI cover. I big smile came across my face when I noticed it walking by. I want to buy the whole engine and tranny but dont have money.
Okay I just took the IDI cover, willing to sell, best offer
If anyone needs anything else let me know I can get it....pcm, manifolds, cams etc. let me know. On with the pics

"still want to smash that like the fist of an angry god"
I wish I had the money to buy the whole thing and rebuild it, or atleast hold it for potential sales. SO quick let me know if theres anything you want before its gone~!

how much for the idi cover?
what exhaust manifold is on it?
In the end, we're all just chalk lines on the concrete.. drawn only to be washed away.
how much for the cams & the intake manifold?????????!!!!!!!
I could have sworn that was the LO intake manifold...
so is the quad 4 better than the 2.4.. is the cams different..
i has a beretta gtz with the quad 3 5 speed.. i sold it for 400 bucks last year and and the guy drove it home
i had a quad 4 my bad for the miss spel
It's an HO manifold, and judging by the car, i'd say they didn't touch the engine as far as upgrades go.
Here's the manifold on my friend's gtz:

No offense, at our local U-Wrench-It that IDI cover would cost me under $10 out the door.
...and I've came across more than you'd think in my limited amount of visits....but eh, good luck with that price.
Thank you Joe! I was gonna say the same thing. These aren't W41 parts... there are @!#$ loads of regular HO Quads out there... I can't go to the junkyard without seeing one.
Well then sell them....Its rare here to find one. If your not interested, dont post. Even if I dont sell Im happy with just having them in my hands. Or will trade for some thing of value.

Good luck in your sale or trade for something of $70 then!
should i toss up the ibtl? go to the classifieds dude. dont turn this into a sale thread...
I paid almost 80 for mine in great condition. If your not interested then why waste your time posting? ONLY SERIOUS POST and questions.

hes right..ive been all across the state , and called ones i havnt been to...cant find an HO anywhere..and even most of the LOs are missing heads and other important parts..so to find THAT engine in THAT kind of condition was pretty good
wish i had found it myself..wonder how much they want for the whole thing
i routinelly buy HOs (about one a year) from my local yard for $150 for the whole engine, including idi. i have a whole spare engine in my trunk. nobody would buy my HO idi for $40, so I sold it for like $30 shipped.
87 Firebird
All stock...........lol.
Just for future reference I'll be selling these HO IDI covers for $69 to undercut the competition.
If interested PM me, it's a great deal I promise.
