Its been a quite while since I have posted here. After I installed ss ram air hood I figured I'd snap some pictures.
I have only driven her 10 times with temporary permit license. She was in pain for almost two years!!!!!!RSM did pretty bad job on the motor. I had to pull the motor out twice to get her fixed.
1. oil pump bracket got cracked
2. bad lifters (worn out)
3. worn out timing chain tensioner (wrong timing) lots of backfire
4. leaking transmission (HM282) old school getrag
5. steering boot was ripped (fluid came out)
6. honk did not work
7. could not high beam... with (2000+ headlights)
there's more.. its been a long time to remember
that is what she looks like when I first bought her for 5,500 lol... you guys will prolly say I got ripped off!
Who would pay that much? Dan Aversa sure got ripped off. He sold her to me.

EDIT: gmpartsdirect.com retails the NUT for $2.25, the bolt for $0.60, retainer #1 for $0.50, retainer #2 for $4.02, and the SCREWS for $3.03. even with those quantity numbers being right, the dude who paid that was getting raped!
HOLY SH!T...it says he paid $2700 for a 2.4L long block??????? and $2200 for a "performance tranny" package????? you need to tell this dude that i've got a 99 cav with a 2.2 that i'll let go for dirt cheap....i only want 25k for it!

The car is coming together quite well. I like the look of the front. What is with the engine bay being red and the rest car what color is it going to be red, blue, black? You might want to get those big brakes powder coated and the rotors as well.
You must be a lucky guy looks like you have one hell of a girl. Maybe even one hell of a hotbodies entry to if you choose to. Have you taught her to wrench on your car with you or fetch tools?

I can't thank Jeff Pautler, Jake and Darren enough. they helped me lots on the car! without them I never would have gotten car fixed on time. Espeically with Darren. He keeps me going with my car. If it wasnt for him I would not buy a cavalier. He prove me how hot jbodies can be. His car is one of my favors
