hmmm, well... lets go through the IF's lol

stereo... lets say to be safe he's got $8000 in just it
engine.... probly $5000
paint.... $5000-$10,000 depending if they did the entire thing
interior-the entire thing is painted/custom, im saying around at least $5000
rims/tires/suspension/brakes-$5000

maybe they added the cost of the car in 02? which was probly 16,000-18,000

even then its only at like $50,000 or so, maybe the rest is in labor?

they probably went to a professional shop and paid them like 15k to do their interior...

if they would have done their own work then it woulda been cheaper..but if they didn't know shiz about cars and paid professionals for all the work then yeah I can see it

waste of $$ the way i see it

If it has that much $$ into it, it sure wasnt spent on quality, I have seen that car in person at a couple of shows, a bunch of little kids could have thrown together a better car than that with stolen parts.

One thing that stands out in my mind on the car, was the triple gauge pod, I believe a blind man installed it, one with no fingers.

But of course, this was about 3 years ago... perhaps the car was redone with quality in mind.

Was looking through my old magazines and this car was in NOPI Street Performance Sport Compact in 2003. Looks like it was built for some one in Ontario and at the time they estimated the value at $55,000. So have do they figure it's got 97k in it when it looks exactly th same?
