That woul have been my first move, but I got a good deal that I couldn't pass up
Lowing is next I just gotta be patient and do things 1 at a time.
must look funny when you open your door, and someone else opens the other door..good work though!
There has got to be some kind of DIY for these doors. I have looked around and only found "kits" with varying prices. Somebody with some decent welding skills and the proper tools has to be able to do this themselves. What comes with the kit? And what kind of directions does it give?

Mine is direct bolt-on. All I had to do to make them fit was to make a little metal flap flat so the kit could sit flush against the inner fender. The kit I have is the improved MMS kit with the larger threading on the shocks and mounting hardware. It can be found here MMS. It comes with DIY instructions and doesn't involve welding. You can weld it in place after bolting if you want, but why do that if it is completly bolt-on. Help this helps ya.

Ummmm..............The Ball joint for the hinge, the Shocks and don't forget about the Thick Steel it is made from. Not everyone has the tools to MAKE them.
Plus why try and make them when for less than $500 you can buy them with all the parts. I've check em out before I installed mine, UNLESS you have acces to a Machine Shop it wouldn't be worht making them.
Plus after you "MAKE SOME" then you would have to go and buy shocks. 1/3 of the price of the kit.
Im sorry my link didn't work. Here it is again bmx

Thanks guys! Your doors look great btw. Nothing gets more attention.

There's so much other stuff that should be done to a car before it is equipped with lambos.
Deal or no deal, that looks stupid.

Nope, this was my first time, but if know how to work a wrench you can do this too. The hardest part about it is taking the car apart for the first time.

To each their own man. Everyone wants to do different things to make them happy. That is part of being a car enthusiast.

You couldn't have said it better.
did you have to extend any wiring in the doors. like speaker wires or the main harness for power window /door locks?

Yes. It was easy as cake to do though. Just gather about 6 inches of spare speaker wire, wire crimps, electrical tape, and have at it.
really all i had to do was pull my boot and thats it
