Well i aquired the car after it had been smashed in the ass end ....i took over the car in march-ish and this is how it looked....



Even got a broken bomex kit to boot!!!!



Well i SOON decided that i was just gonna bring it back to a stock Z look, with the rims and the grafix.... With some help from some people on JBO i was able to locate stock manta green Z bumpers and a new trunk lid....





Well that lasted all of about 2 months then i decided that i needed to upgrade some stuff...Well this is where MANTAZ (stephen) came into play....and i recieved two great features from him, and lots of nicknack stuff as well..... Enter the SS hood($250)




Then there was paint..... Inspired by my Friend Ineverfollow (dan anderson)($75)




The second item from stephen was a versus motorsports r34gtr rear bumper(free) that was rather banged up and in desperate need of fiberglass work...will show pics later....

After that i scored a sweet deal from another JBo member in northern indiana...MMs LamboDoors..



The next exterior products that i bought was a RkSport IF front bumper($75) and a 02 rear bumper(given to me)





so after a week of primer bumpers i decided i would go paint them...well i myself and layman painted the IF front ... took it off at midnight, did the prep work and mild body work on it, and painted it....was on the car by 7:30am and we headed to the K Zoo BBQ with manta z, karnage, layman, and shannon<3




Next came projectors from Karnage... (trade for stocks)




well after that i decided that i would try and finish the fiberglass crap i started on the inside of the car....



all the sanding and everything is done on that and is painted flat black waiting for body color paint....

Well then the last thing i have done this last year was put the gtr bumper on the rear, with paint, finished the body work on the rear end, shaved a couple things, and painted some mirrors....






and this is the car as it sits today... more mods to come in 07...2.3ho head swap, bottom end build, T-tops??, and interior finished...

not a fan of the rear but looks like it came a long way. you put a lot into it and looks good. not a fan of the graphics either but its yours.

once you get the interior fully back together, and the rear done completely without the waves and stuff.. I think it will look pretty good.

And I have been there the whole time since right before the SS Hood and on forward and I Can tell you it has taken a LOT of work to get where it is, but im sure its not done..

On a side note though.. Factory t-tops get leaky on F-bods.. it would be pretty much impossible to get them in and function on a J... let alone leak free, but it would be sweet if you could

vincent, greencavi, and streetdreamZz- yeah i didnt like the rear at first either but after being on the car its not to bad....it was free to so i figured i go ahead and give it a chance...i might be going to a 03LS sport rear...

Karnage, paul, jesse...yeah it has come a long long way but im not done just for last year i figured id show everyone, ill keep everyone updated!!!

Eric, your car is sick. we still gotta work on the back bumper but its still bad ass....i know u showed the pics to me before but always nice to see them again..thanks for commin to orlando. now lets finish my bumper and get my car back down here!

looks like to me all you really need is to shave the rear spoiler, or get one that looks a bit more showy... like maybe the brickyard, or even the 00+ z

also... ur car is older, when u FIRST did ur hood.... how did the paint compare to the fenders? did it match?

not a fan of the rear but I do like how the car overall came out.

Free or not the rear is nasty ugly. You could not pay me to put it on my car.
The hood does not look like the color matches in any of the pics.
Forget about a HO intake manifold. You need more than that to back up those looks. Get the GM supercharger kit you wont be sorry. It is only $1400.
