Turbo Tech Ecotec Upper Mount Pics

here are a few pics of the mount that i got from Aaron at Turbo Tech when he had the group purchase. I was very impressed with the high quality of this thing! I had them paint it orange, and i say paint because it started chipping when installing it. Thought it was powdercoated at first, but i was wrong. So just a heads up with anyone that bought one colored, just be very careful when installing it not to chip it, i got frustrated a few times and it was my own error. On with the pics:

That is powder paint, actually that mount is a 2 part process to powder coat. First powder coat layer, is the "polished" powder coat that many customers order. The 2nd coat is a translucent orange metalic, as it needs a base coat first.

You must not use impacts to install these, you must use a torqure wrench, making sure you bolts AND most important washers, are very clean. If you use an impacy it WILL cause any type of paint to chip (wet or powder)

We wanted to make this clear that these are powder coated, and are not wet painted.

i have had this piece for a while now. if you have a 5 spd you will notice the biggest difference. this thing elminated all my 2nd gear wheelhop. looks nice too. there are little to know interrior vibrations unlike the RK sport mount.

yeah i agree with Vince, the vibes are really not there at all, you can feel them just the smallest bit at idle, but that is the only time. Thanks for a great product Aaron!

Since I'm not premium anymore, I can't edit my posts. Hey Aaron, I meant to type TurboTech in my post but it came out a tad strange looking. Sorry about that, lol

They are available at any local hardware store. Just a clamp with about a 7/16" hole that has a vinyl dip coat on it

Yeah i plan on having my friend polish or powdercoat the valve cover shortly, but i agree it needs cleaned up regardless. May have to purchase some simple green or something. Thanks for the comments guys
